it SUPERHERO Palette

Note:  I received these items from it Cosmetics.  I am not a brand rep but I am grateful for the goodies because I would not have tried this brand otherwise.  You already know…I form my own opinion.

Received: The new it SUPERHERO palette, a dual ended brush and a makeup bag. I used the eyeshadow for 2 weeks, the brush(es) for about a week and the makeup bag every day.

First thoughts:  Super thrilled to have this palette in my collection.  Beautiful, beautiful neutral shades! Gorgeous makeup bag and what makeup junkie doesn’t love a new makeup brush …or two?

The palette: The shadows feel like buttah.  Minimal fall-out, great color payoff.  I love how they grouped the palette into sections; the top row are 3 eyeshadow foundations (I used as eyebrow highlighters).  The bottom has 1 set of 3 nude eyeshadows, 1 set of 3 neutral eyeshadows and 1 set of 3 liners.  I really like how they organized the palette. Shadow has “anti-aging collagen, silk, peptides & antioxidants.”

The brush(es):  Soft but firm.  No complaints.

The makeup bag:  Adorable.  It’s black and cute.  Done deal. LOL

Dislikes?  The blue liner.

Overall:  A great addition to your neutral eyeshadow collection.

Do you love this brand, do you already have this palette?

Mary Kay Extra Emollient Night Cream Review

😫 ❤️ empty! I’m taking this picture before I cut it open to scrape the rest out until my next one arrives. My very dry skin LOVES this night cream. I promise it whispers a thank you at night.

*light scent

I’m no Mary Kay fan so don’t  reach out; I ain’t buying her makeup and I don’t want samples.

Bobbi Brown Extra Repair Moisture Cream Review

Cons: Scented. Personally, I don’t like scented face creams; I have a strong sense of smell and I don’t want perfume on my face. I wish I smelled it first I wouldn’t have even tried it.

Pros: Does its job but I would call it extra. It works.

Overrall: No bueno.

LimeCrime Lipstick Review

Day 5! My one and only LimeCrime in Retrofuturist.

Pros: a great, surprisingly soft red and fun packaging (love the unicorn)

Cons: I purchased this before the social media drama around the brand. I don’t do drama. Sooooo, no more.

Laura Mercier Flawless Skin Face Polish Review

Yeah, I’m comparing it to the microdelivery exfoliating wash by philosophy. No shade. It’s just better. I loved loved the microdelivery exfoliating wash by philosophy until I tried this deluxe sample of laura mercier’s face polish (omg these two brand names are lower case and it’s killing me lol). No shade on philosophy, I just found something better that’s still gentle and great on my dry skin.

Pros: it left my face feeling polished and it didn’t feel dry at all afterward

Cons: none

My philosophy is almost finished and I’m switching to laura mercier. Have you tried these? Let me know your thoughts in the comments. 🙂

Givenchy Rouge Interdit Review

 Givenchy, Black Plum, beauty review

Absolutely nothing negative to say about this lipstick. It is everything wonderful.  Sleek and pretty packaging, moisturizing formula and great color payoff (see pic with one swatch). I love it.

Jeffree Star Liquid Velour Lipstick Review

Pros: finishes with a perfect dry matte look without drying my lips, beautiful packaging. MEGA staying power.

Cons: sells out quickly; I set an alarm for the releases.

Overall: LOVE this brand and formula.

Day 3 of my 31 days of lips in October and I’m feeling like a dark lip. This is my only blue and I love it.

Boscia Cleansing Oil Review

Loved this! Got 3 uses out of this sample and I use a lot of product. So far Boscia can do no wrong in my eyes. I’ve tried their face masks and love them.

 ::adds to purchase list::

Have you tried this product or brand? What are your thoughts?

Sephora Rouge Infusion Lip Stain Review

Sephora Rouge Infusion Review

I really wanted to like this.

Pros: $14, sleek design

Cons: Drying; it feels moisturizing at first but it completely dried my lips.  Staining is uneven, leaving the center free from stain.

Final word: I will not purchase anymore and I have no use for the one I have due to the drying.
