Day 2: ABH Trust Issues

Anastasia Beverly Hills, Trust Issues, lipstick, beauty

Day 2…I’m rocking Anastasia Beverly Hills in Trust Issues lined with MAC’s Plum lip liner. Hate the name but loving this color on me. This shade works for all seasons. The formula dries to a matte without drying my lips. I must say it is messy coming out the tube–enough for me to notice. Anastasia Beverly Hills, Trust Issues, lipstick, beauty

30 Days of Lips? Let’s See. Day 1.

Happy September! It’s no secret if you have been following me for a while, I love September. It’s my birth month and I am so excited for another year.

I’ve been wanting to do a month of lips and I decided to give it a go…starting today. The Lip Bar, Bawse Lady, lipstick, beauty bloggerDay 1 is a liquid lipstick named Bawse Lady from The Lip Bar. My girlfriend Njeri sent this beautiful red lippie to me. The Lip Bar first launched some years ago so the brand is not new to me and I love the brand. Vegan lippies with cute packaging and fun named shades. The Lip Bar, Bawse Lady, lipstick, beauty bloggerThe rundown. Dries to an ultra matte without drying out my lips. It lasted longer than I wanted it to…LOL…I wiped it off so I can eat.  Grateful to my GF for sending it to me and I would definitely recommend the brand. See you tomorrow…Posh

MAC Halsey

I’m late I know but I’ve been busy. Playing in some makeup I’ve purchased and not yet tried. Here is MAC Halsey. No clue where I’d wear it but I’ll put it in the winter stash. I lined it with Vino and blennnnnnded. I think I like it.

LimeCrime Lipstick Review

Day 5! My one and only LimeCrime in Retrofuturist.

Pros: a great, surprisingly soft red and fun packaging (love the unicorn)

Cons: I purchased this before the social media drama around the brand. I don’t do drama. Sooooo, no more.

Givenchy Rouge Interdit Review

 Givenchy, Black Plum, beauty review

Absolutely nothing negative to say about this lipstick. It is everything wonderful.  Sleek and pretty packaging, moisturizing formula and great color payoff (see pic with one swatch). I love it.

Jeffree Star Liquid Velour Lipstick Review

Pros: finishes with a perfect dry matte look without drying my lips, beautiful packaging. MEGA staying power.

Cons: sells out quickly; I set an alarm for the releases.

Overall: LOVE this brand and formula.

Day 3 of my 31 days of lips in October and I’m feeling like a dark lip. This is my only blue and I love it.

ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip Review

  Color: LAX

I just love this color for FALL! This formula is a matte liquid lipstick that dries über matte. When they said ultra matte, they meant that.

Pros: $6, lasts foreverrrrrrr but needs touching up (like any lippie) and the color goes on evenly, not blotchy.

Cons: hard to remove and drying but not overly so (a good lip moisturizer before helped a lot the second time I wore it).

Overall: I’d buy the whole lot of them! I’ve gifted them this year. The company has great customer service, too.

Because I love R E D lipstick

Available at Sephora…beautiful red lipstick by luxury cosmetics company, Bésame. The color pictured is Red 1920 and product description says it has a “blue-toned base” and lets talk about this gorgeous good packaging! ::squeals::
